Leonardo Fernandes joined the company in July 2023 as the Co-Director of Business Operations and Strategy and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in January 2025. Before joining CreditRiskMonitor, Leonardo served as a Product Manager at Edstruments, a fintech startup focused on the K-12 public schools market, where he led the development of a Procure-to-Pay product that processed over $100 million in transactions annually.

Previously, Leonardo worked at QuintoAndar, a $5.1 billion real estate startup based in Brazil, as a Product and Project Manager for automation projects through Robotic Process Automation (RPA), overseeing more than $25 million in annual payments.

Leonardo holds an M.B.A. from Babson College, with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Business Analytics & Machine Learning, as well as a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
